Do you respect the US traitor Joan Hinton for defecting to China on principal after the US nuked Japan?

Hinton worked on the Manhattan Project with Oppenheimer and when the US used nuclear weapons on civilians in Hiroshima and Nagasaki and evaporated 300,000 people, Hinton defected to China in hopes of Communism being the answer. She was of course wrong and Communism failed, but aren't her intentions noble?
