I've had my contraceptive implant in since monday and it still hurts to touch?

This is normal hun, it will go away. Mine had a black/purple bruise for about 2 weeks and I had stabbing pains and a burny feeling for about 3 weeks afterwards, I went to see my doctor because I was worried but she said that it's nothing to worry about, that it's perfectly normal for up to 6 weeks after it's been put in, because putting the implant in basically tears a pocket between the muscle and the skin and the stabbing pain is damaged muscle fibres fixing themselves. Hell, even now, a year after I had the implant removed, I still get the occasional ache or twinge there! Go to your doctor if it carries on for more than 6 weeks <3
