Why is Communism a bad thing?

Ok so I know communism is beleiving everyone should get the same wages and stuff but I guess that's fair? I know it's not if somebody who hasn't worked a day in their life and somebody who always works over time get the same but is there more to cummunism? Coz people say it's so big and bad but I mean, is that all it is?
