Can't remeber a movie?

I faintly remember as a child watching a movie back then I considered horrible, but would like to see if it really was (but forgot its name). it's children's cartoon movie about a sick little girl who after getting better has all the toys that she had at the time of being sick thrown in a fire to keep her from catching the disease again. thats all I can't remember unfortunately, can someone plz help, i do remember it being a really old cartoon movie even when I was little I'm around 20 now so it has to be somewhere between 20- 40 years old by now I think plz help
