Is it possible to change/convert the wattage on my cigarette lighter?

You can try putting a slightly higher amperage fuse. Of course, if you over due it, you start a fire, so if 5 extra amps doesn't help, you can get an accessory cigarette lighter from Radio Shack. The easiest way to hook them up is running the wires through the fire wall and hooking them straight up to the battery.
