Can someone help me figure out this poem?

It is a lovely, powerful poem with a lot to say in symbols, etc. I am a little off put by "dummy" but think it probably appropriate. I think you are the right tract in your interpretation. It is a good guideline on how to live life with beauty. I would personally like to live a little more with the first several lines. I like the following of the "great blank" of what is next. It is a poem to say a lot about how to live ones life. I know this is not the answer you asked for. I do love poetry. Says so much more than prose.
